Wormus said that China's substantial progress in the Internet field is particularly disturbing.

She said, "I am particularly concerned about the possible cyber attacks they might launch against our important infrastructure in the United States," "I think if we have a conflict, you might indeed see attacks on, for example, our power grid or transportation. The latter not only affects the way we project our military power abroad, but also has very serious consequences for the American public."

Wormus said that another concern is Taiwan. She believes that it is necessary for the military to invest in mines, anti-ship missiles, coastal defense, and the combat readiness of the Taiwan military.

Berger said that he was especially worried that some local military commanders would misjudgment and lose control, leading to unexpected confrontations.

Berger said that China has been conducting coercive activities in the South China Sea and continues to do so. The containment of China is not only to prevent a hot war, but also to protect the national interests of the United States in the Indo-Pacific region and provide free and open air and seas for allies and partners.

Berger said that the U.S. Department of Defense has been working hard to improve the team’s collaborative combat capabilities for the past three decades. The Chinese military "is trying to catch up with us because they see the value of team operations."

Wormus said, "An important role of the army is to ensure that our ground relationship with the host country is very, very strong, because most of the local countries have large armies."

Wormus said that the U.S. Army established a Security Forces Assistance Brigade (SFAB) a few years ago. There are currently five such assistance brigades in the local country. They are working hard to establish interoperability and set up expanded contacts every day. condition.

Wormus said that from an offensive perspective, the US Army will use long-range precision attack missiles and medium-range hypersonic weapons in combat. From a defensive point of view, the US Army can provide mobile forces in the event of a counterattack.
